At Best & Better, we stand behind the quality of our products. We offer clear and fair warranty coverage on all our JDM Engines and Semi-Truck Tires. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully to understand your coverage.
Warranty for JDM Engines
1. Warranty Duration:

Limited Parts-Only Warranty: 90 days from the date of purchase.
2. What is Covered:
This warranty covers the replacement cost of a certified, like-for-like JDM engine in the event of a major internal failure.

Engine Block: Cracks or irreparable damage to the block itself.

Cylinder Head(s): Cracks or warping that renders the head unusable.
-
Internal Rotating Assembly: Catastrophic failure of crankshaft, connecting rods, or pistons.
-
Note: The engine must have been installed by a certified mechanic.
3. What is Not Covered (Exclusions):

Any and all labor costs for diagnosis, removal, or installation.

Gaskets, seals, belts, hoses, filters, and consumables.
-
External components such as alternators, starters, power steering pumps, A/C compressors, distributors, sensors, and turbochargers (unless sold as part of a complete engine set).

Damage resulting from improper installation, timing belt/chain failure, negligence, abuse, lack of maintenance, overheating, detonation, or use of incorrect fluids/fuels.

Normal wear and tear and minor issues like oil consumption, smoke, or leaks.
-
Any engine that has been modified, tuned, or used for racing.
4. Claim Process:

Contact Us: Immediately notify us via email at info@bestandbetterusa.com upon discovering an issue. Please include your order number.

Professional Diagnosis: A certified, third-party mechanic must provide a written report and photos/videos detailing the failure and its cause.

Approval: We will review the report. If the failure is covered under this warranty, we will ship a replacement engine.

Return: The defective engine must be returned to us (shipping costs covered by us) in the condition it was removed.
Warranty for Semi-Truck Tires
1. Warranty Duration & Type:

Tread Life (Mileage) Warranty: Pro-rated coverage based on the manufacturer’s original tread life warranty.

Workmanship & Materials Warranty: Varies by brand, typically 3 to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
2. What is Covered:

Mileage Warranty: If the tire wears out before the advertised mileage, you will receive credit towards a new tire based on the remaining tread depth and the original purchase price.

Workmanship Warranty: Covers defects in materials or workmanship, such as tread separation, belt separation, or sidewall failures under normal highway service conditions.
3. What is Not Covered (Exclusions):

Road hazard injuries (cuts, punctures, impact breaks).

Damage from improper mounting/dismounting, underinflation, overinflation, or misalignment.

Irregular wear due to mechanical issues (bad shocks, worn suspension, etc.).
-
Damage from off-road use, abuse, fire, vandalism, or accidents.
-
Tires that have been repaired, retreaded, or altered.
-
Tires worn beyond the tread wear indicators (below 2/32nds of an inch).
4. Claim Process:

Inspection: The tire must be inspected by a certified commercial tire dealer.

Documentation: Email the dealer’s inspection report, clear photos of the tire and DOT number, and your original proof of purchase to info@bestandbetterusa.com.

Assessment: We will process the claim based on the manufacturer’s guidelines and provide a pro-rated credit or replacement.
General Terms for All Warranties

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

All warranty communications must be initiated via email to info@bestandbetterusa.com.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Best & Better reserves the right to be the final arbiter of any warranty claim.
